Helmut Schmitz works since 2005 as Director Public Affairs for "Der Grüne Punkt - Duales System Deutschland GmbH" in Berlin, Brussels and Cologne. As Head of International Communication he was responsible in 2000 – 2005 for projects with different international stakeholder groups, especially in Europe and Asia. After finishing Albertus-Magnus-University in Cologne with a Master Degree in Biology he worked seven years as Secretary General of the Young Federal Civil Servants Association, the umbrella organisation with 45 independent associations in the German public service.
