For 20 years, IdentiPlast has established itself as a landmark technical conference in Europe, dealing with the recycling and recovery of plastics waste.
After Rome in April 2015, IdentiPlast will be heading to Vienna on 22-23 February 2017. PlasticsEurope will gather experts, political and industry leaders to renew the plastics industry’s commitment to the goal of "Zero plastics to landfill” and demonstrating its full commitment to the Circular Economy concept, as currently discussed within the European institutions.

The two-day conference will include presentations and panel debates on:
- The legislative, environmental and economic aspects of plastics waste management
- innovative sorting & identification technologies and collection systems
- best practices in quality recycling and energy recovery
The programme at IdentiPlast 2017 in Vienna, a city at the door step of Central and Eastern European countries, will have a special focus on challenges and opportunities in the neighbouring countries, while also presenting the status of waste management across the EU and the world. PlasticsEurope seeks to stimulate the debate on waste management policies and raise the level of acceptance for the "Zero Plastics to Landfill” goal among the entire waste management community (practitioners and regulators) at EU and national levels.
IdentiPlast aims to provide the entire plastics value chain with a platform for innovation in the field of waste management, while also addressing concerns about investment and infrastructure.
Networking will be key at IdentiPlast, with a special networking dinner hosted at the heart of the Austrian capital, in the MuseumsQuartier, Halle E+G.
IdentiPlast will also feature an exhibition, allowing companies to showcase their latest innovations in waste management. Interested to exhibit? Contact
