The 12th
edition of IdentiPlast entitled "Plastics waste a key component of a Circular
Economy” was held in in
Rome on 29-30 April 2015. With more than 200 participants from 30 different countries representing the industry, the full value chain, European and national legislative bodies, NGOs, cities
and regions, sectorial associations,
recyclers, waste-to-energy facilities, IdentiPlast
2015 was the largest European event this
year dedicated to the recycling and recovery of plastics. It participants learnt
about best practices in various regions,
including Europe, the US and Japan, while comparing waste legislation in these regions.
During the
conference, the EPRO award for the best
recycled plastics product 2015 was awarded to the HÅG Capisco office chair by Scandinavian Business
Seating.

Speakers gave insights into innovations in sorting technologies and
recycling for mixed plastics recycling, films, carbon and feedstock.
IdentiPlast provided a platform for debating
and networking to all those having an interest in plastics, circular
economy and waste legislation.
