Doctorate in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the Technical Universities of Madrid (UPM) and Denmark (DTU).
He has worked for five years on resource and waste issues at one of the Topic Centres of the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen (Denmark). In the last six years he has been Scientific Officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) in Seville. He is currently working on projects underpinning technically a number of sustainable production and consumption policies in the EU, including ecodesign, ecolabel and end-of-waste.
The title of the presentation fits well.
