Marc Cheverry

Head of Waste Prevention and Management Unit - Ademe

An agricultural engineer from France’s National Institute of Agronomy graduate engineering college, Marc CHEVERRY started his professional life with the Poitou-Charentes Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in charge of principally energy recovery from food industry waste. He joined France’s National Agency for Waste Recovery and Disposal in 1982 as Sector Manager for the food processing industries, subsequently being tasked with supporting Eco-Emballages in its early stages before moving to head a municipal waste management unit.

Since 2004, he has been in charge of general waste prevention and management with ADEME
