Secretary General of EPRO, European Association of Plastics Recycling and Recovery Organisations
Peter Sundt, 57, has been Secretary General of EPRO, European Association of Plastics Recycling and Recovery Organisations, a 15-20% assignment, since 2005. During the period from the start- up of EPRO in 1997 until 2005 Peter was a board member. EPRO has 17 members from 15 countries. The aim of EPRO is to exchange experiences and best practices between its members and other partners within the field of organising plastic packaging recycling schemes.
Peter Sundt is also a partner and senior adviser in Mepex Consult AS, a Norwegian consultancy working within waste management, both in Norway and abroad. Mr Sundt held the position as Managing Director for Plastretur from 1996 until 2005. Plastretur is the material company for plastic packaging and agriculture film in Norway and is now operated by Green Dot Norway. In 2006 Peter was, for a period, manager for hire for the Norwegian anti-littering campaign.
