Chemist by education, Michel Loubry is a French citizen aged 57.
He started his professional career at Unilever, moving to DSM, where he worked in France (1983-1989), the Netherlands (1989-1993), Spain (1993-1995) and Italy (1995-1998), returning to France in 1998.
After having left DSM in 2003, he became an independent consultant, focusing on cultural differences in business environments.
Since 2005, Michel Loubry is PlasticsEurope’s Regional Director for the West Region that encompasses Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. He has also led the association’s efforts on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection as Programme Director between 2006 and 2011.
