Martin joined PlasticsEurope as Advocacy Director in Brussels in November 2011. He previously acted as Head of the Office of the Director General of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) in Frankfurt for 5 years. Before that, he worked in the Legal Affairs & Taxes Department of VCI with main focus on company law, compliance and the initiative »Americanization of law«. Martin holds a lawyer degree with a major on corporate and competition law from the University of Würzburg in Germany. He completed his Doctorate in Law in 2001 on the German net book agreement in the European internal market with magna cum laude. Martin is born in Rostock, Germany.
